The framework agreement for the archaeological site of Herculaneum was the first systematic and cyclical maintenance campaign with a single operator (with the possibility of a temporary joint venture) lasting four years. The executive project was developed by the HCP team of designers in consultation with the SSPES managers, and in particular with the site's then-director, and is divided into two main areas of intervention: the architectural heritage and the decorative elements. The work was awarded to COEDIL SUD.
