The Municipality of Sorso, in the province of Sassari, commissioned COEDIL SUD to construct a nursing home. The contract involves the construction of a nursing home with a hospice/health center, including the awarding of the executive design for the entire project. Improvements aimed to improve the general management of the nursing home system and resulted in the following design proposals: 1) improved incoming goods logistics by differentiating routes for different user categories; 2) supply of one additional freight elevator beyond the tender base, including optimization of all lift systems by differentiating capacity and type based on internal flows; 3) two additional clinics and four additional bedrooms beyond the tender base; 4) new internal layout with naturally lit laundry and ironing rooms.
